Is there open schooling at Boca Negra?
Yes, Boca Negra is open for schooling 7 days a week, during daylight hours. Every rider must purchase a permit prior to schooling the course.

What kind of jumps do you have?
Boca Negra has full courses of Starter through Training level fences. There are 3 bank complexes, ditches, a water jump, several skinnies, and a corner. There are a few fences above training level for schooling as well.

Is there water available for horses?
Yes, there is a water spigot on the south side of the clubhouse.

Are there bathrooms available?
No, right now there are no working bathrooms on site. NMEA is working with ABQ Open Space to rectify this.

How can I help?
NMEA is holding two Workdays in the late spring of 2025, we will need volunteers to help us paint and oil jumps and maintain the tracks. If you would like to donate financially, NMEA has sponsorship opportunities available. Please reach out to nmeventingassoc@gmail.com if you are interested in sponsoring a jump.
